The Shops at West End
M&N Structures provided design-build services for the steel portion of the Shops at West End development. The conceptual design phase started in early 2007 and we provided value engineering design ideas to help with conceptual development. We joined the design team in February of 2008 and the first building was erected in early June. Construction continued through the fall of 2009.
As a member of both the design and construction teams, M&N coordinated with project managers, site superintendents, and foremen, from concept to delivery, through final construction. Though we do not have an in-house erection crew, M&N provided sub-contract erection services for the entire project. By working closely with members of all trades, we were able to keep construction issues to a minimum and maintain the project’s fast-track schedule.
